Covenant Care vs. Superior Court, 32 Cal. 4th 771 (Cal. Supreme Ct. - 2004) (The Covenant Care case is one of two landmark California Supreme Court cases in the field of elder abuse. The case was returned to the Los Angeles Superior court for trial. The plaintiffs rejected a seven figure offer and the case went to trial which resulted in a defense verdict. This trial was selected by California's legal newspaper, The Daily Journal as one of the top ten defense verdicts in California for the year 2006.
