Randy is a native of the Chicago area, and graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1982. He had vacationed in this area since the 1970’s, and his love for Florida led him to move here permanently in 1984. Randy and his wife of 29 years, Judy, have three young-adult sons, Matthew (22), Dan (21), and Joe (19), who have graduated from or currently attend Florida State University, in Tallahassee, Florida. Randy enjoyed coaching his sons for over a decade in YMCA and USSSA basketball leagues, and is proud of all three who were all captains of their respective high school varsity teams. They also grew up as altar servers at Boca Grande’s Our Lady of Mercy parish, where Randy and Judy are active members. Randy began his real estate career in 1985 and joined the Boca Grande Club’s sales team in 1986, where he marketed gulf and bay condominiums and homes. In 1989, Randy was invited to join the newly created sales force at Boca Grande’s premier waterfront community known as Boca Bay, on the southern end of Gasparilla Island. Over the next eleven years, Randy exclusively handled sales and marketing of all seven Boca Bay neighborhoods. When new construction sold out in 2000, Randy became one of the principal broker/owners at Gasparilla Properties where he expanded his sales and management career for over 14 years. He has consistently performed in the top 1% of sales volume among the local Board of Realtors every year, and is fortunate to have been involved in several hundred million dollars of closed transactions. More recently, Randy is focused on serving his many valued real estate customers as he assists the longest serving real estate office on the island --Boca Grande Real Estate, in expanding their sales division.
