Abstract:
A load leveler for different widths of open semi-trailers preferably includes a load support member, a plurality of vertical support members and two adjustable stakes. Each vertical support member is attached under the load support member. A stake receiver is preferably secured to each end of the load leveler with welding. The stake receiver is sized to receive an outer perimeter of the adjustable stake. The adjustable stake includes a receiver portion and a stake portion. The stake portion is sized to be received by a stake pocket in an open semi-trailer. The receiver portion is sized to be received by the stake receiver. At least one of the adjustable stake is fractionally rotated to accommodate different distances between stake pockets. A chain tie is preferably attached to a top of the stake receiver to retain a tie down chain.

Abstract:
A reduced height combination ramp and load leveler includes at least two lengthwise support members, a plurality of cross members and plurality of cross treads. A retention tube is secured to each end of the at least two lengthwise support members. The at least two lengthwise support members and the plurality of cross members are preferably fabricated from an aluminum alloy having a tensile strength of at least 50,000 to reduce a height of the combination ramp and load leveler. Two stake receivers allow a single ramp to be used as a load leveler. Each stake receiver is sized to removably receive an adjustable stake. A ramp stand includes a support base and an adjustable tube receiver that is vertically postionable relative to the support base. The adjustable tube receiver retains the retention tubes.

A trailer rub rail portable ladder includes a ladder portion and two rub rail mounting members. One end of a hand rail may be attached to each rub rail mounting member. The ladder portion preferably includes two ladder side rails, a plurality of step members and two ladder hinge members. The plurality of step members are retained between the two ladder side rails. The ladder hinge member is attached to one end of the ladder side rail. Each rub rail mounting member includes a rail slot and a pivot hole. A pivot pin is inserted through each ladder hinge member and each rub rail mounting member to pivotally retain thereof relative to each other. A ramp system includes a rail with an outer wall that defines an extent of the ramp in a width dimension. The rail includes an inner wall that is connected to the outer wall at a curb head. The inner wall extends away from the curb head at an angle relative to the outer wall. A side wall is oriented parallel to the outer wall.
