Novel Replicase Cycling Reaction (Rcr)

US Patent:
2022041, Dec 29, 2022
Filed:
Jan 19, 2022
Appl. No.:
17/648336
Inventors:
Sam LIN - Arcadia CA, US
Chun-Hung LIN - Taipei, TW
International Classification:
C12Q 1/686
C12N 9/12
Abstract:
This invention generally relates to a novel RNA/mRNA production and amplification method using viral RNA replicase and/or RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) enzymes as well as the associated mRNAs thereof. The present invention can be used for manufacturing and amplifying all varieties of RNA/mRNA sequences carrying at least an RdRp-binding site in the 5′- or 3′-end, or both. The RNA/mRNA so obtained is useful for not only producing mRNA vaccines and/or RNA-based medicines but also for generating the mRNA-associated proteins, peptides, and/or antibodies under an in-vitro as well as in-cell translation condition. Principally, the present invention is a novel RNA replicase-mediated RNA/mRNA amplification method, namely Replicase Cycling Reaction (RCR). The RNA replicases involved in RCR include but not limited to viral and/or bacteriophage RNA-dependent RNA polymerases (RdRp), particularly coronaviral and hepatitis C viral (HCV) RdRp enzymes.

Novel Replicase Cycling Reaction (Rcr)

US Patent:
2023009, Mar 30, 2023
Filed:
Sep 7, 2022
Appl. No.:
17/930292
Inventors:
Sam Lin - Arcadia CA, US
Chun-Hung Lin - Taipei, TW
International Classification:
C12N 15/10
A61P 31/12
Abstract:
This invention relates to a novel composition and method for RNA/mRNA production as well as amplification using viral RNA replicase and/or RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) enzymes and the use of associated RNA/mRNA products thereof. The present invention can be used for manufacturing and amplifying all varieties of RNA/mRNA sequences carrying at least a replicase/RdRp-binding site in the 5′- or 3′-end, or both. The RNA/mRNA so obtained is useful for not only producing mRNA vaccines and/or RNA-based medicines but for generating the mRNA-associated proteins, peptides, and/or antibodies under an in-vitro as well as in-cell translation condition. Principally, the present invention is a novel RNA replicase/RdRp-mediated RNA/mRNA amplification method, namely Replicase Cycling Reaction (RCR). The RNA replicases involved in RCR include but not limited to viral and/or bacteriophage RNA-dependent RNA polymerases (RdRp) in either modified or non-modified mRNA and/or protein compositions, particularly coronaviral (e.g. COVID-19) and hepatitis C viral (HCV) RdRp enzymes.

Detachable Structure For Shielding Input/Output (I/O) Ports

US Patent:
2020005, Feb 13, 2020
Filed:
Sep 20, 2018
Appl. No.:
16/136634
Inventors:
- City of Industry CA, US
Sam LIN - City of Industry CA, US
International Classification:
G06F 1/18
Abstract:
A detachable structure for shielding input/output (I/O) ports of a motherboard includes a housing and a blocking plate. The housing has a plurality of installed portions, an internal space, and an opening, the internal space communicates with the opening, and the plurality of installed portions are arranged in the internal space. The housing is arranged on the motherboard, and the internal space accommodates the I/O ports. The blocking plate is penetrated with a plurality of first holes. A plurality of installing elements are respectively fixed to the installed portions to fix the blocking plate to the housing, thereby shielding the opening. The positions of the plurality of first holes respectively correspond to the positions of the I/O ports to use the plurality of first holes to expose the I/O ports.

Fixing Device For An Expansion Card

US Patent:
2019009, Mar 28, 2019
Filed:
Sep 28, 2017
Appl. No.:
15/718362

- City of Industry CA, US
Sam LIN - City of Industry CA, US
International Classification:
G06F 1/18
F21V 33/00
Abstract:
A fixing device for an expansion card is installed on a frame of a desktop computer to fix an expansion card on the desktop computer. The fixing device includes at least two installation bases. After adjusting an interval between the installation bases, the installation bases are fixed to an opening of the frame by locking members. Each of the installation bases is provided with an installing through hole, such that an installation portion at the rear end of each of two fixing rods penetrates through the installing through. The front ends of the fixing rods vertically extend to form clamping portions to clamp the expansion card. The clamping portions and the expansion card are provided with a fixing batten to stabilize the expansion card.
