Almost 10 years ago, I was a high school English teacher in South Charlotte who dabbled in real estate over the summers. While teenagers are great and all, the day to day high school grind didn’t compare to the excitement and perpetual change of real estate. My grandmother, who sold real estate in Chicago & Orlando for nearly 50 years, was right: this is one of the few careers where I am able to help all types of people with different tastes, backgrounds, and budgets. I’ve been in Charlotte now for 9 years and couldn’t love a city more. Originally, I’m from Orlando, FL and moved to Charlotte after graduating from Florida State University with an English Education degree. Charlotte is now my adopted home, and much to chagrin of my parents, I won’t be going back to Florida; who could leave the rolling hills, clean city, beautiful mountains a short drive away, the eclectic neighborhoods, or blossoming culinary, beer, and arts scene? Outside of “work”, my husband and I love to cook (well, I sip wine and watch him work his chef magic), play with our daughters, Ellie & Claire, or take our Huskey-wolf mix Kaya to Freedom Park or around our Midwood neighborhood. We love getting together with family and friends and try to see as much live music as possible. There's usually some sort of outdoor concert or festival to check, too, in one of Charlotte's unique neighborhoods. I am savvy at buying & selling in all quadrants of the Greater Charlotte area and would love to help you find your home whether it’s your first condo that you plan on turning into a bachelor pad or your third home that has to accommodate three kids and a dog.
