2021022, Jul 22, 2021
Filed:
Jan 14, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/149157
Inventors:
Jordan Jacek de Haan - Denver CO, US
William George Norman Coon - Longmont CO, US
Shane Kawika Vogt - Lafayette CO, US
International Classification:
G01N 33/543
B01L 3/00
G16H 10/40
G16H 10/60
Abstract:
An ancillary saliva testing apparatus for the presence of a selected substance utilizing an internet connected electronic device with a camera for third party review, the electronic device also having electronic communication to the apparatus, the apparatus has an enclosure that accommodates an insertable saliva test element assembly that includes a test element casing that secures a saliva test strip within the casing. The enclosure includes color sensing circuitry for the saliva test strip and communication circuitry from the color sensing circuitry to the electronic device. Also, an user interface application in on the electronic device to document a user inserting the casing into the enclosure with the camera verifying the user identity via facial recognition, also the saliva test strip that includes both an identification code and change of state test result color code on the saliva test strip based on the user wetting the test strip with saliva.

Offset Nut Driver

US Patent:
2021021, Jul 15, 2021
Filed:
Jan 10, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/145344
Inventors:
Peter Magda - , US
Shane Vogt - Lafayette CO, US
International Classification:
B25F 5/00
F16H 1/20
B25B 21/00
B25B 23/00
Abstract:
An offset nut driver (“driver”) is implemented which enables machine-generated rotational movement at an input drive to translate to an output spline, and thereby to a socket bit, with minimal user effort. Use of the driver displaces, to a power drill, the human strength element in loosening and tightening bolts. Gears interior to the driver translate the rotational movement from the input drive to the output spline. The input drive may be a hex input rod which can connect to a drill's receptacle, or chuck. The output mechanism may be an output spline to which a socket bit can securely connect. The socket bit can then engage with a nut or bolt for loosening or tightening, in which the rotational torque output by the socket bit is derived from the rotational force exerted against the input rod by, for example, a power drill.

Manufacturing Apparatus

US Patent:
2020018, Jun 18, 2020
Filed:
Feb 25, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/800226
Inventors:
Jonathan C. Fragoso - Commerce City CO, US
Jacob P. Brown - Boulder CO, US
William G. Coon - Longmont CO, US
Nicholas R. Jentzsch - Lafayette CO, US
Michael C. Messaros - Erie CO, US
Shane K. Vogt - Lafayette CO, US
International Classification:
B29D 22/00
A01M 25/00
B25J 15/08
Abstract:
A manufacturing apparatus for assembling a container including a sleeve, a bowl cover with a cavity, a closed state clamshell with a hinge having a mating protrusion, and a flexible strip having a primary and secondary end portions that are affixed with adhesive between the cover and clamshell. The manufacturing apparatus includes a base, a spindle, with primary and secondary radially extending platforms, respectively supporting primary and secondary cradles with the bowl and clamshell disposed therebetween the cradles that are rotated. The manufacturing apparatus also includes a guide slidably engaged to the base, wherein the guide directs the strip to be helically wound about the clamshell and cover with a base slide mounted adhesive nozzle that affixes the primary and secondary end portions of the strip to the cover and clamshell with a head that cuts and holds the strip with the head slidably engaged to the base.

Material Trimming System

US Patent:
2020010, Apr 2, 2020
Filed:
Sep 22, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/578365
Inventors:
Michael C. Messaros - Erie CO, US
Shane Vogt - Grand Junction CO, US
Jonathan C. Fragoso - Thomton CO, US
International Classification:
B28D 1/00
B28D 1/04
B28D 7/02
B24B 7/18
Abstract:
A material trimming system used with a table saw having a rotationally driven arbor, a table with a specialized tray to retain an article to be trimmed, the system including a core structure with a core rotational axis that attaches to the arbor that has an arbor rotational axis. The system also includes a peripheral ring that is about a ring rotational axis, wherein the peripheral ring removably engages the core structure, wherein the peripheral ring includes an outer peripheral element that is operational to trim a material of the article to a selected configuration. In addition, included in the system has a cover having a cover rotational axis, the cover having a mechanism to be removably attachable to the core structure that is operational to removably retain the peripheral ring to the core structure, wherein the arbor, core, ring, and cover rotational axes are all coincident to one another.

Cannabinoid Formulation Packaged In A Glass Vial For Pulmonary Delivery

US Patent:
2020004, Feb 13, 2020
Filed:
Aug 13, 2018
Appl. No.:
16/102286
Inventors:
- Denver CO, US
Turner Miller - Superior CO, US
Shane Vogt - Lakewood CO, US
International Classification:
A61K 31/352
A61K 47/44
A61K 9/00
Abstract:
A cannabinoid formulation comprising cannabinoid concentrate and beeswax, or a beeswax analogue, in a ratio of 30:1 to 40:1 by weight. Preferably the ratio is 35:1. The vaporizable formulation is packaged in a single use glass vial and used for pulmonary administration to a patient. The glass vial is made from borosilicate glass, has a cylindrical shape, an open end and no lid. The vial preferably has a uniform wall thickness of 0.02 inches. The formulation forms a wax seal at room temperature to eliminate any need for a lid. The formulation can be directly vaporized from the glass vial to eliminate transfer of the formulation to another container, to eliminate mess, to enable precise dosing, and to enable easy recycling and disposal of the vial after use.

Dispenser Apparatus
