Unit Dose System

US Patent:
2014001, Jan 16, 2014
Filed:
Jun 5, 2013
Appl. No.:
13/910631
Inventors:
Steven R. Henrikson - Morristown TN, US
International Classification:
A61J 3/00
US Classification:
401206, 401205
Abstract:
A liquid dispensing system having a reservoir, a flow through applicator having a bore in flow communication with the reservoir, an applicator mount for mounting the applicator on the reservoir, a removable seal for sealing liquid from escaping the dosing system. A flow restrictor may be incorporated located within a portion of the bore of the applicator to control the flow rate and hence the dosing or application rate of the liquid from the reservoir. Alternatively, or in conjunction with the flow restrictor, a plunger is included within the reservoir to be moved forward when the user squeezes the reservoir to urge liquid in the reservoir from the reservoir.

Appl. No.:

Disposable Prophy Angle

US Patent:
5911577, Jun 15, 1999
Filed:
Oct 9, 1998
Appl. No.:
9/169386
Inventors:
Steven Ross Henrikson - Morristown TN
Assignee:
Team Technologies, Inc. - Morristown TN
International Classification:
A61C 306
US Classification:
433125
Abstract:
A prophy angle dental tool comprises a disposable attachment to an air turbine type of dental tool drive motor. The disposable attachment has a single section tubular body that extends from a direct drive coupling with the drive motor power shaft housing to the driven dental implement. A quick-coupling hub at one end of a medial drive shaft receives a lug drive mechanism in the motor drive shaft. Externally, the coupling hub is confined to coaxial rotation within the motor shaft housing. The medial drive shaft extends unrestrained from the motor coupling hub along an internal void within the tubular body into geared engagement with a short shaft. The short shaft is rotatively driven about an axis that is substantially transverse of the tubular body length. A pinion gear on the inner end of the short shaft is engaged by a gear at the end of the medial drive shaft thereby driving the short shaft while simultaneously holding the short shaft within a short shaft housing bore.
