Filed:
Apr 30, 2010
Appl. No.:
12/771936
Inventors:
Steven Richard Ambriz - Missouri City TX, US
International Classification:
B65D 6/40
US Classification:
220601
Abstract:
A hopper system for both delivery and reclamation of bulk abrasives includes a closed, vacuum rated container with an inlet port with a hatch which is moveable between an open position for gaining access to the interior of the container and a closed position for closing the container. At its lower end there is an outlet port for releasing the contents of the container. The outlet port includes a valve which is moveable between open and closed positions for controlling the flow of contents from the container. The hopper system includes a connector for attaching a vacuum source to the container and in communication with the interior of the container and a reclamation inlet in the container and communicating with a reclamation line for drawing abrasives into the interior of the container when the vacuum source is attached to the container.

Closure Safety Interlock With Lockout Plate For Pressure Vessel

US Patent:
2016034, Dec 1, 2016
Filed:
Jan 28, 2016
Appl. No.:
15/009799
Inventors:
Steven Richard Ambriz - Missouri City TX, US
International Classification:
F17C 13/06
B65D 55/02
B65D 51/16
B65D 50/02
Abstract:
A closure safety interlock system is provided for a pressure vessel having a closure assembly with a primary locking system. The closure safety interlock defines a secondary locking system for assuring that the primary locking system may be opened only by following a proper sequence, thereby minimizing misuse of the primary locking system. The closure safety interlock includes a blocking member movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position for blocking movement of a primary lock when in the engaged position and until a release mechanism in the primary lock has been activated. A mechanism is provided for moving the blocking member from the engaged position to the disengaged position once the release mechanism has been activated. A locking plate is movable between a locked and closed position for prohibiting access to the blocking member and an open position for gaining access to the blocking member.

Curved Ladder For Tank Access
