Susan is known for her hard work ethic, creative thinking and persistent approach to fulfilling people's needs. Having come from the worlds of sales and design where she won multiple awards, she developed stellar customer service skills, plus has a keen eye that helps clients envision the unique possibilities of space. A native New Yorker, Susan holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. Always passionate about architecture and design, she previously ran her own design business and retail store in Brooklyn specializing in Asian-style accessories and home design, collectibles and antiques, which resulted in a very loyal international customer base. Susan also honed her "warrior work ethic" as a freelance artist and designer in fashion and costume design for Broadway shows, theater, dance and film. Her defining experience was working for Chanel Inc. for many years as a Sales Analyst and Freelance Make-up Artist. Whether professionally or personally, Susan gets the most joy from helping others. She is a longtime member of SGI-USA, a global Buddhist organization for world peace and culture, plus has volunteered with the Boys & Girls groups, serving as creative director for events. She previously trained in Martial Arts including Ninjitsu and Karate, and has a new interest in biking with plans to explore trails outside of the city. Susan also loves gardening, landscape design and travel.
