Hi all... I'm Tammie McDonald. I've been happily married for 29 years to Jeff... and each year keeps getting better as we go. We have 3 children... 2 older, grown adults, Ashley (28), and Rosstin (25)... and we're still raising our teenager, Maddie (16). I'm also a proud, bragging grandma to my lovely granddaughter, Hali (6). Currently we're herding 4 dogs in and out the back door in between all the other obligations that running a household calls for. I am a Christian, and a creative type. I'm a painter... whether its a commissioned portrait, the bathroom walls... or a crazy mural.....I always seem to have a blob-o-paint somewhere on me. (see if you spot the color on me next time we meet) Currently, my new focus of energy goes into teaching Zumba classes. I'm also learning some new ways to cook and eat. I have a precious, charming elementary aged granddaughter, Hali, who I get to see 2 times a year, and try my best to create as many special memories as I can cram in when we're together. During my whole life, I seem to have hopped from one interest to the next...POURING myself into "whatever" I'm into at the moment. I've had a lot of random interests, that God manages to weave together into usefulness in odd and equally UN-random ways. I never rest enough... (night owl creativity always kicks in) but my age is starting to be felt when I sit still long enough to notice it. I plan to get more involved in "writing" as a habit, and to develop some of the varieties of ideas popping in and out of my head all the time. I'm hoping this blog will inspire the fire of writing back into me, more regularly and see what develops over time.

Got the Cutest 6 year old granddaughter in the world!!! Got awesome KIDS that are all super, and a son-in-law hand-picked by God for Ashley, and we just love the guy. I'm certified in 2 levels at Zumba fitness, I've been certified in herbology, Sclerology, Iridology, and Bio-kinesiology.
