I was born and raised in Virginia, and attended college in Georgia. Madison County, Alabama has been my home since 1967. As a rookie out of college, I spent quite a few years working in several interesting fields; such as, technical writer for Boeing, office manager for a surgeon, wedding planner for my own wedding business, and a fashion consultant. In 1985, work in education called. For 24 years, my career was in postsecondary education. I quickly became a Training Coordinator responsible for supervising Career Centers where student assessment was conducted, and Skills Training Instructors throughout north Alabama. This was a valuable position because I interacted with a multitude of people and developed problem solving techniques that became a steadfast part of my skills set and my personality. Those skills easily transferred to real estate after retirement. I work closely with sellers and buyers with emphasis on the specific needs of each. I am your advocate throughout the process. I'm detail oriented, honest, and loyal. A buyer knows when he/she has found home. A seller knows when his/her marketing needs are being met, and it's my responsibility to stay on top of each phase of the process so you don't have to worry about the many details involved.
