A drink holder assembly includes a drink holder which is mountable above a tray, such as an airline table tray mounted on the back of an airline chair. Typically, a support extends downwardly from the drink holder and a mounting mechanism connected to the support removably mounts the drink holder on the tray. A reading light is preferably mounted on the drink holder to provide light directed toward the tray. The assembly may include another light so that the assembly serves as a flashlight useful for emergency purposes. The assembly is collapsible to fit within a purse or briefcase. The drink holder may be spaced sufficiently above the tray to accommodate a laptop computer seated on the tray.

A coupling member for detachably connecting together two sections of air brake hose between railroad cars. Each coupling member has a hollow tubular body with one end attached to a section of hose and with an opposite end having an arcuate body portion extending circumferentially about and outwardly of the tubular body, and has an arcuate locking lug with a guide and protection surface followed by a locking surface extending generally axially from the body concentric with and projecting along substantially the entire arcuate body portion. An L-shaped arcuate flange projects outwardly and forwardly from a rear portion of the tubular body and is provided with a lip which engages a similar lip formed on the arcuate locking lug of the other of two coupling members to secure the members in coupled position where the lip projects from only a locking portion of the lug while a guide portion has a smooth surface. An blastomeric gasket is mounted within the bore of the tubular body and forms an airtight seal with a similar gasket mounted on the other coupling member. A finger is pivotally mounted within a radially extending slot formed in an arcuate end body and above the guide portion of the lug portion of the tubular body.

The invention provides a composition comprising: (A) at least one dicarboxylic acid or anhydride or at least one ammonium or metal salt of the dicarboxylic acid or anhydride; and (B) at least one compound represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein R. sub. 2, R. sub. 3, R. sub. 4 and R. sub. 5 are each independently hydrogen, alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, polyhydroxyalkyl, polyalkoxyalkyl or hydroxypolyalkoxyalkyl; and R. sub. 1 is a hydrocarbyl group. In another embodiment, the compositions include (C) at least one acid, or ammonium or metal salt of the acid represented by the formula: ##STR2## wherein R. sub. 6, R. sub. 7, R. sub. 8 and R. sub. 9 are each independently hydrogen or hydrocarbyl groups; and n is a number from 1 to about 10; (D) at least one ester-salt derived from at least alkyl or alkenyl succinic acid or anhydride of about 8 to about 28 carbon atoms and at least one alkanol amine; or mixtures of (C) and (D). The invention further provides for concentrates and functional fluids containing the above corrosion-inhibitors.

Railway maintenance vehicles are disclosed which are of the character having a frame assembly provided with drivable ground engaging tires and rail engaging flanged wheels. The frame assembly supports maintenance equipment, and the rail engaging wheels are displaceable between first and second positions relative to the frame assembly. In the first position the flanged wheels engage underlying rail members so as to support the vehicle with the ground engaging tires in suspension above ground, and in the second position the flanged wheels are elevated from the rails and the tires engage ground to support the vehicle. Heretofore, maintenance operations have been performed with the flanged wheels either in the first or second position thereof. An improvement according to the present invention provides for the flanged wheels to be displaceable to a third position engaging against the rails to provide guidance and a stabilizing force while the tires engage ground to provide the primary vehicle support and stability during maintenance operations.

A wheel supported open top receptacle such as a railway car is provided with a liner arrangement comprising a plurality of belt members arranged between the end walls of the car with the sides of adjacent ones of the belts overlapped in the direction between the end walls, and with each belt overlying the side walls and bottom wall of the car. One end of each belt member is attached to the upper end of the corresponding one of the side walls and, by upward displacement of the other end, each belt is adapted to be displaced upwardly relative to the car. Material in the car is progressively unloaded laterally outwardly of the car by sequential displacement of the belts in accordance with the pattern of overlap.
