Abstract:
A fastener driver configured for use with a rotary power tool having a chuck. The fastener driver includes a drive including a shank, an elongated extension including an aperture that extends through the elongated extension, and the drive is removably coupled to the elongated extension. The fastener driver further includes a driver including an aperture that extends through the driver and a drive to engage a fastener to rotate the fastener, and the driver is removably coupled to elongated extension to allow the fastener to pass through the aperture of the driver and into the aperture of the elongated extension. The fastener driver further includes a connector that couples the driver to the drive for co-rotation without the elongated extension when the elongated extension is not utilized and the connector couples the driver, the elongated extension, and the drive for co-rotation when the elongated extension is utilized.

Abstract:
A powered dispensing tool includes a housing, a motor positioned within the housing, a rack coupled to the motor for powered translation in at least one of a forward direction and a reverse direction, and a transmission selectively coupling the motor and the rack. The transmission includes an input ring rotatable in response to rotation of the motor in a first direction corresponding with powered translation of the rack in the forward direction, a first clutch member engaged with the rack through an intermediate gear, and a second clutch member that receives torque from the input ring and that is movable in response to rotation of the motor in the first direction toward a first position engaging the first clutch member. The second clutch member is also movable in response to rotation of the motor in an opposite, second direction toward a second position disengaged from the first clutch member.

Systems and methods of operating power tools. The method includes receiving a command to start a recording mode at a first electronic processor of a first power tool, and receiving at the first electronic processor, a measured parameter from a sensor of the first power tool while a first motor of the first power tool is operating. The method also includes generating a recorded motor parameter by recording the measured parameter, on a first memory of the first power tool, when the first power tool operates in the recording mode, and transmitting, with a first transceiver of the first power tool, the recorded motor parameter. The method further includes receiving the recorded motor parameter at an external device, transmitting the recorded motor parameter to a second power tool via the external device, and receiving the recorded motor parameter via a second transceiver of the second power tool.

Abstract:
A power tool includes a power tool housing including a fluid inlet and a discharge outlet. A motor is supported by the power tool housing. A tool is configured to be moved relative to the housing by the motor. A fan is configured to be rotated by the motor, such that a fluid flow with debris generated by movement of the tool is drawn into the fluid inlet and through the discharge outlet. A filter is removably attached to the power tool housing. The filter includes a filter media configured to separate the debris from the flow of fluid. The filter media includes a collection container configured to store the debris. The filter also includes an opening in the filter media through which the flow of fluid with the debris enters the collection container, and a valve that is moveable between a closed position and an open position.
