Reduction Of Plasma Edge Effect On Plasma Enhanced Cvd Processes

US Patent:
2001004, Nov 22, 2001
Filed:
May 11, 2001
Appl. No.:
09/853397
Inventors:
Kuo-Shih Liu - Milpitas CA, US
Ramana Veerasingam - Scott Valley CA, US
Zhi Xu - Albany CA, US
Ping Xu - Fremont CA, US
Mario Silvetti - Morgan Hill CA, US
Gang Chen - Mountain View CA, US
Assignee:
Applied Materials, Inc.
International Classification:
C23C016/00
H01L021/3065
US Classification:
118/72300R, 156/345000
Abstract:
An apparatus for confining plasma within a process zone of a substrate processing chamber. In one aspect, an apparatus comprises an annular member having an upper mounting surface, an inner confinement wall, and an outer confinement wall. The apparatus is disposed on or otherwise connected to a gas distribution assembly of the processing chamber to prevent plasma edge effects on the surface of a substrate. The apparatus provides a plasma choke aperture that reduces the volume of the process zone around the periphery of the substrate thereby eliminating uneven deposition of material around the edge of the substrate.

Dynamic Analysis Techniques For Applications

US Patent:
2023007, Mar 16, 2023
Filed:
Nov 21, 2022
Appl. No.:
17/991715
Inventors:
- Santa Clara CA, US
Wenjun Hu - Santa Clara CA, US
Zhi Xu - Cupertino CA, US
International Classification:
G06F 21/56
G06F 21/53
Abstract:
A sample is analyzed to determine a set of events that should be selected for performing by a dynamic analyzer executing the sample in an instrumented, emulated environment. The set of selected events is performed. In some cases, at least one emulator detection resistance action is performed. A maliciousness verdict is determined for the sample based at least in part on one or more responses taken by the sample in response to the set of selected events being performed by the dynamic analyzer.

Detecting Phishing Websites Via A Machine Learning-Based System Using Url Feature Hashes, Html Encodings And Embedded Images Of Content Pages

US Patent:
2023008, Mar 16, 2023
Filed:
May 16, 2022
Appl. No.:
17/745701
Inventors:
- Santa Clara CA, US
Yihua LIAO - Fremont CA, US
Zhi XU - Cupertino CA, US
Assignee:
Netskope, Inc. - Santa Clara CA
International Classification:
H04L 9/40
Abstract:
Disclosed is phishing classifier that classifies a URL and content page accessed via the URL as phishing or not is disclosed, with URL feature hasher that parses and hashes the URL to produce feature hashes, and headless browser to access and internally render a content page at the URL, extract HTML tokens, and capture an image of the rendering. Also disclosed are an HTML encoder, trained on HTML tokens extracted from pages at URLs, encoded, then decoded to reproduce images captured from rendering, that produces an HTML encoding of the tokens extracted, and an image embedder, pretrained on images, that produces an image embedding of the image captured. Further, phishing classifier layers, trained on the feature hashes, the HTML encoding, and the image embedding, process the URL feature hashes, HTML encoding and image embeddings to produce a likelihood score that the URL and the page accessed presents a phishing risk.

Dynamic Analysis Techniques For Applications

US Patent:
2021025, Aug 19, 2021
Filed:
Feb 3, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/166944
Inventors:
- Santa Clara CA, US
Cong Zheng - San Jose CA, US
Zhi Xu - Cupertino CA, US
International Classification:
G06F 21/56
G06F 21/53
G06F 11/14
G06F 9/455
Abstract:
A virtualized storage for use in performing dynamic analysis on a sample is configured, at least in part by copying the sample to the virtualized storage. A virtual machine emulator is launched using a snapshot of a virtualized platform. The virtualized platform is previously configured to use the virtualized storage, and the snapshot is configured to use a placeholder file to occupy space for later use when installing the sample. A location of the copied sample in an image corresponding to the virtualized storage is determined. The copied sample is installed and dynamic analysis is performed on the sample.

Dynamic Analysis Techniques For Applications

US Patent:
2021015, May 27, 2021
Filed:
Feb 4, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/168007
Inventors:
- Santa Clara CA, US
Wenjun Hu - Santa Clara CA, US
Zhi Xu - Cupertino CA, US
International Classification:
G06F 21/56
G06F 21/53
Abstract:
A sample is analyzed to determine a set of events that should be selected for performing by a dynamic analyzer executing the sample in an instrumented, emulated environment. In some cases, analyzing the sample includes extracting the sample's user interface layout into a tree hierarchy of user interface elements. The set of selected events is performed. In some cases, at least one emulator detection resistance action is performed. A maliciousness verdict is determined for the sample based at least in part on one or more responses taken by the sample in response to the set of selected events being performed by the dynamic analyzer.

A location of the copied sample in an image corresponding to the virtualized storage is determined, at least in part by identifying an offset. The copied sample is installed and dynamic analysis is performed on the sample.

Context-Based Analysis Of Applications

US Patent:
2020006, Feb 27, 2020
Filed:
Oct 29, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/667443
Inventors:
- Santa Clara CA, US
Zhi Xu - Cupertino CA, US
International Classification:
G06F 21/56
Abstract:
Evaluating samples is disclosed. A sample is received. A system component dependency graph is built for the sample. In particular: (1) a dependency relation between at least one system event and at least one system component is analyzed; (2) dependency relations between a plurality of system components are analyzed; and (3) a dependency relation between at least one system component and at least one indirect call component is analyzed. A verdict for the sample is determined based at least in part on the system component dependency graph.
