Determining Relevant Signals Using Multi-Dimensional Radar Signals

US Patent:
2023007, Mar 16, 2023
Filed:
Oct 27, 2022
Appl. No.:
18/050403
Inventors:
- Suwon-si, KR
Mandar Kulkarni - Richardson TX, US
Boon Loong Ng - Plano TX, US
Pengda Huang - Allen TX, US
International Classification:
G01S 13/89
G01S 7/41
G06V 40/16
G01S 13/52
Abstract:
A method and electronic device for determining relevant signals in radar signal processing. The electronic device includes a radar transceiver, a memory, and a processor. The processor is configured to cause the electronic device to obtain, via the radar transceiver of the electronic device, radar measurements for one or more modes in a set of modes; process the radar measurements to obtain a set of radar images; identify relevant signals in the set of radar images based on signal determination criteria for an application; and perform the application using only the relevant signals.

Configuration Management And Analytics In Cellular Networks

US Patent:
2021035, Nov 11, 2021
Filed:
Mar 4, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/192780
Inventors:
- Suwon-si, KR
Mandar N. Kulkarni - Richardson TX, US
Pranav Madadi - Mountain View CA, US
Vikram Chandrasekhar - Mountain View CA, US
Yan Xin - Princeton NJ, US
Sangkyu Park - Seoul, KR
Hakyung Jung - Seoul, KR
International Classification:
H04L 12/24
H04L 12/26
Abstract:
Apparatuses and methods for identifying network anomalies. A method includes determining a cumulative anomaly score over a predefined time range based on a subset of historical PM samples and determining an anomaly ratio of a first time window and a second time window, based on the cumulative anomaly score. The method also includes determining one or more anomaly events coinciding with CM parameter changes based on the anomaly ratio; collating the PM, alarm, and CM data into a combined data set based on matching fields and timestamps; generating a set of rules linking one or more CM parameter changes and the collated data to anomaly events; and generating root cause explanations for CM parameter changes that are linked to anomaly events.

Apparatus And Methods For Multi-Sensor Slam Systems

US Patent:
2021013, May 6, 2021
Filed:
Oct 23, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/949308
Inventors:
- Suwon-si, KR
Neha Dawar - Plano TX, US
Vitali Loseu - Aubrey TX, US
Mandar Kulkarni - Richardson TX, US
Yuming Zhu - Plano TX, US
Chiyu Zhang - West Lafayette IN, US
Songwei Li - McKinney TX, US
Jianzhong Zhang - Plano TX, US
International Classification:
G01S 13/86
G01S 17/89
G01S 13/89
G01S 13/42
G01S 7/00
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a Lidar sensor, a radar sensor, and a processor. The processor is configured to identify one or more objects from Lidar scans. The processor is configured to transmit, via the radar sensor, radar signals for object detection based on reflections of the radar signals received by the radar sensor. While the electronic device travels the area, the processor is configured to generate a first map indicating one or more objects within an area based on the Lidar scans and a second map based on the radar signals. The processor is configured to determine whether the second map indicates a missed object at the portion of the first map that is unoccupied. In response to a determination that the second map indicates the missed object, the processor is configured to modify the first map with the missed object.
