Methods And Apparatus For Implementing Nat Traversal In Mobile Ip

US Patent:
7079520, Jul 18, 2006
Filed:
Dec 28, 2001
Appl. No.:
10/034302
Inventors:
Gaetan Feige - Bagneux, FR
Rabih A. Dabboussi - Cary NC, US
Kent K. Leung - Mountain View CA, US
Milind M. Kulkarni - San Jose CA, US
Assignee:
Cisco Technology, Inc. - San Jose CA
International Classification:
H04Q 7/24
US Classification:
370338, 370352, 370401, 4554351
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for establishing communication between a Mobile Node and a Home Agent are disclosed. The Home Agent receives a registration request packet from the Mobile Node, the registration request packet including an IP source address and a Home Agent address. The Home Agent then detects from the registration request packet when network address translation has been performed. When it has been detected that network address translation has been performed, a tunnel is set up between the Home Agent address and the IP source address.

Dhcp Based Home Address Management Of Mobile Ip Clients

US Patent:
7461169, Dec 2, 2008
Filed:
Nov 19, 2002
Appl. No.:
10/300437
Inventors:
Madhavi Wunnava Chandra - Cary NC, US
Milind M. Kulkarni - San Jose CA, US
Kent K. Leung - Mountain View CA, US
Alpesh Patel - Santa Clara CA, US
Assignee:
Cisco Technology, Inc. - San Jose CA
International Classification:
G06F 15/16
H04L 12/66
H04Q 7/20
US Classification:
709245, 709227, 709228, 455425, 455437, 370352
Abstract:
Methods and apparatuses for allowing mobile nodes to have access to mobility functions after being attached to their home networks are disclosed. The invention allows a home agent to authenticate a registration request and validate a DHCP-acquired home address even if no mobile bindings currently exist. Typically, a home agent will not create mobility bindings if a mobile node attaches itself to a home agent network segment. By using either cached information or DHCP resources, the home agent can approve a registration request.

Methods And Apparatus For Implementing Nat Traversal In Mobile Ip

US Patent:
8358635, Jan 22, 2013

Programming Model And Software System For Exploiting Parallelism In Irregular Programs

US Patent:
2009030, Dec 10, 2009
Filed:
Jun 10, 2009
Appl. No.:
12/482118
Inventors:
Keshav Kumar Pingali - Austin TX, US
Milind Vidyadhar Kulkarni - Austin TX, US
International Classification:
G06F 9/44
US Classification:
717106, 717140, 717149
Abstract:
Systems and methods for parallelizing applications that operate on irregular data structures. In an embodiment, the methods and systems enable programmers to use set iterators to express algorithms containing amorphous data parallelism. Parallelization can be achieved by speculatively executing multiple iterations of the iterator in parallel. Conflicts between speculatively executing iterations can be detected and handled using information in class libraries.

Efficiently Generating Selection Masks For Row Selections Within Indexed Address Spaces

US Patent:
2017005, Feb 23, 2017
Filed:
Mar 31, 2016
Appl. No.:
15/087077
Inventors:
- San Diego CA, US
Milind Ram Kulkarni - Raleigh NC, US
Benjamin John Bowers - Cary NC, US
International Classification:
G06F 12/10
G06F 1/06
Abstract:
Efficiently generating selection masks for row selections within indexed address spaces is disclosed. In this regard, in one aspect, an indexed array circuit is provided, comprising a start indicator that indicates a start indexed array row of a row selection, and an end indicator that indicates an end indexed array row of the row selection. The indexed array circuit further comprises a plurality of indexed array rows ordered in a logical sequence, each comprising a row-level compare circuit. Each row-level compare circuit is configured to generate a selection mask indicator based on a first parallel comparison of subsets of bits of a logical address of the indexed array row with corresponding subsets of bits of the start indicator, and a second parallel comparison of subsets of bits of the logical address of the indexed array row with corresponding subsets of bits of the end indicator.
