Filed:
Mar 22, 2012
Appl. No.:
13/427679
Inventors:
Anne Margaret Pianca - Santa Monica CA, US
Roger Chen - Los Angeles CA, US
Assignee:
Boston Scientific Neuromodulation Corporation - Valencia CA
International Classification:
A61N 1/05
US Classification:
607117
Abstract:
A lead anchor includes a body having an outer surface, a top end, a front side, a first end, and a second end opposite to the first end. The body defines a lead slot configured and arranged to receive a lead. The lead slot defines an elongated opening extending along the front side of the body from the first end to the second end. A transverse lumen extends from the top end of the body and intersects the lead slot. An exterior member is disposed around at least a portion of the body. The exterior member is formed of a biocompatible material. A fastener is disposed in the transverse lumen. The fastener is configured and arranged for fastening the received lead to the lead anchor by deforming a portion of the lead.

Insertion Assembly For An Electrical Stimulation System And Related Methods Of Use

US Patent:
2013020, Aug 8, 2013
Filed:
Feb 6, 2013
Appl. No.:
13/760743
Inventors:
Roger Chen - Los Angeles CA, US
Carolyn Madeleine Nohejl - Los Angeles CA, US
Aditya Vasudeo Pandit - Costa Mesa CA, US
Anne Margaret Pianca - Santa Monica CA, US
John Michael Barker - Ventura CA, US
Assignee:
BOSTON SCIENTIFIC NEUROMODULATION CORPORATION - Valencia CA
International Classification:
A61N 1/05
US Classification:
606129, 607116
Abstract:
An insertion assembly for assisting implantation of at least one lead into a patient includes an insertion needle and a sheath. The sheath removably couples with the insertion needle while the insertion needle is being advanced into the patient. When the sheath is coupled to the insertion needle, the sheath is disposed over at least a portion of an outer surface of the insertion needle. The sheath is radially expandable from a non-expanded state to an expanded state that is rigid enough to retract surrounding patient tissue when inserted into the patient. When the sheath is in an expanded state, first and second diameters of the sheath at opposing ends of the sheath are each large enough to concurrently receive at least one of a paddle lead or at least two percutaneous leads.

Assay Systems And Methods For Processing Sample Entities

US Patent:
2018033, Nov 22, 2018
Filed:
May 22, 2018
Appl. No.:
