Energy Storage Arrangement

US Patent:
7581403, Sep 1, 2009
Filed:
Apr 15, 2005
Appl. No.:
11/107663
Inventors:
Daniel H. Deeks - Sea Cliff NY, US
International Classification:
C25D 7/06
F25B 21/00
H01M 2/00
H01S 3/00
H01F 6/06
US Classification:
62 31, 205155, 429 10, 372 37, 505163
Abstract:
Energy is stored in the compression of a metastable degenerate Fermi electron gas contained in a compressed metallic base material subjected to a magnetic field in a high pressure cell. Heat energy is introduced to increase the energy of the compressed metastable degenerate Fermi electron gas. The increase in energy causes the magnetic field to increase so that the metastable degenerate Fermi electron gas is further compressed. Absorption of heat results in a decrease in the temperature. Energy can be withdrawn from The system by allowing the metastable degenerate Fermi electron gas to expand against the compressing magnetic field. To prevent development of fissures, the metallic base material is precompressed to provide an allowance for the volume of a metastable Fermi electron gas bubble to be created later.

Process For Treating Sewage Effluent

US Patent:
4192741, Mar 11, 1980
Filed:
Dec 27, 1978
Appl. No.:
5/956242
Inventors:
Daniel H. Deeks - Sea Cliff NY
International Classification:
C02G 104
US Classification:
210 6
Abstract:
The process described herein calls for reaction of the effluent as it flows through the plant. The use of high and low pressure venturies (Barnoulli's equation) are included in this design. The purpose of this high pressure venturi (wider reaction pipe) is to create a high pressure and temperature for the bacteria to live in. It also serves to slow the effluent down for a longer detention time and longer period of organic or inorganic reaction. This results, in the case of the sludge, that the flow speed is equal to the rate at which the bacteria consume their way toward the incoming sludge flow. This above mentioned flow produces points of maximum organic or inorganic reaction: (i. e. bacterial or combustions of various natures) at constant designated points in the venturi. This design has the capacity to produce a high quality natural gas.

Energy Storage Arrangement

US Patent:
5113661, May 19, 1992
Filed:
May 23, 1990
Appl. No.:
7/528039
Inventors:
Daniel H. Deeks - Sea Cliff NY
International Classification:
F25B 2100
US Classification:
62 31
Abstract:
A method and system of energy storage in which energy is stored in the compression of a metastable degenerate Fermi electron gas contained in a compressed metallic material such as hydrogen and/or metallic lithium in a diamond anvil high pressure cell which is subjected to a magnetic field by further compressing the metastable degenerate Fermi electron gas. In operation, heat energy is introduced to increase the energy of the compressed metastable degenerate Fermi electron gas which causes the magnetic field associated therewith to increase to further compress the metastable degenerate Fermi electron gas, which causes the heat to be absorbed and results in a decrease in the temperature thereof. Energy can be withdrawn from the system by allowing the metastable degenerate Fermi electron gas to expand against the compressing magnetic field.

Method And Apparatus For The Hermetic Sealing Of Martensitic Metals For Precompression For Cryogenic Applications

US Patent:
2021033, Oct 28, 2021
Filed:
May 10, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/316083
Inventors:
Daniel Hiram DEEKS - Sea Cliff NY, US
International Classification:
F16J 15/08
F16J 15/00
Abstract:
Disclosed is a hermetically sealed assembly for precompression of a martinsetic metal for use in negative pressure energy transfer systems, and method of making same. The assembly comprising a martinsetic metal disposed between and in contact with flanged sapphire windows, the flanges defining an open area therebetween to accommodate expansion and contraction of the martinsetic metal. Hermetic sealing means include a bellows element, which can comprise a convoluted cross section, at the periphery of the assembly to enable operation over temperature ranges from ambient to cryogenic without loss of integrity or leakage.

Methods And Apparatus For Sealing Of Metals

US Patent:
2020031, Oct 8, 2020
Filed:
May 22, 2017
Appl. No.:
16/303743
Inventors:
Daniel Hiram DEEKS - Sea Cliff NY, US
International Classification:
F16J 15/08
F16J 15/18
Abstract:
Disclosed is a hermetically sealed assembly for precompression of a martinsetic metal for use in negative pressure energy transfer systems, and method of making same. The assembly comprising a martinsteic metal disposed between and in contact with sapphire windows. The assembly has an internal channel to accommodate expansion and contraction of the martinsetic metal. Hermetic sealing means including in different embodiments positive pressure fasteners and a bellows element are used at the periphery of the assembly to enable operation over temperature ranges from ambient to cryogenic without loss of integrity or leakage.
